Belt bags are a really great and functional accessory. They add some fun and flare to a look all while serving a purpose! I love mine for tailgating! There are many ways to style belt bags that make you look ultra stylish and super chic.
This being said, I wanted to inspire you with a couple different ways to style the belt bag for any occasion! Here are five looks that I styled with my belt bag.
Look 1: Summer to Fall Transition
I love when the heat of the summer starts to cool off so I can comfortably wear pants again. (I'm a major jeans lover, so hot summer days really are not my friend when I am wanting to wear jeans.) I love overalls for any season, but especially this part of the year! For this look, I paired my medium wash overalls over my white eyelet blouse. I looped my belt bag through the belt loops. I really love my Madewell mules with this look but I could also wear sneakers or sandals with this look.
Look 2: With a Jumpsuit
This off-white linen jumpsuit has been a favorite of mine since I purchased it early this summer! I love replacing the tie front belt with my belt bag to add some contrast and flare! Dainty jewelry is the best way to accessorize with this jumpsuit and it looks great with many shoe choices! It is hard to layer a jacket over the jumpsuit due to the buttons and the dolman style sleeves, so I recommend layering a cardigan over top if you need an extra layer!
Look 3: Casual Denim Skirt
I love a great denim skirt especially for summer and early fall. They are perfect for dressing up or down. For this look, I paired my dark wash denim skirt with this mustard wrap front blouse. I like to tuck the front of the blouse in just a bit because it does hang just a little too long for my liking, but I do keep the tie on the side out! I just put the belt bag in the belt loops and throw on a sneaker to finish this look off! I also could add a cardigan or a jacket for cooler weather.
Look 4: Sweater Weather
Sweater weather is the best weather, which although is a super cheesy quote, is also very fitting and true for me. I love when it cools down so I can pull out some of my favorite sweaters that are too heavy for summer. I love this burgundy crew neck sweater tucked into these medium wash, distressed jeans. Add the belt bag and some booties to complete the look.
Look 5: Dressed Up
I love the idea of mixing professional pieces with more casual pieces. This look is really great a blending those concepts. I started with this black and white plaid blazer over a graphic tee with my black, high waisted distressed jeans. From there, I added the belt bag and my mules to keep the look professional. It's comfy and dressed up all at once.
If you have a belt bag and have created some great looks with it, feel free to share them here! I am always looking for some great outfit inspiration!
